Imagitech developed a Digital Rights Management (DRM) system to allow CITB to make their HSE Publications available digitally.
The brief was to create a system that made the content available on several different platforms - namely Windows, Android, iOS and OSX. At the same time the system needed to accommodate regular content updates and limit piracy through a secure licensing system.
Imagitech developed native document viewers for each platform. Each document viewer interacts with a central licence/subscription server to control access to the documents, and to ensure that updates are available only to licenced users.
The solution integrates directly with a voucher system but also offers a secure API for e-commerce integration.
